Frequently asked questions

Does PrevDent contain fluoride, SLS or peroxides?
No. The active ingredients are 15% nano-hydroxyapatite and potassium nitrate; instead of SLS it uses the milder sodium lauroyl sarcosinate. No peroxides — the "whitening" comes from smoothing and remineralising the enamel surface, not from changing the colour of the tooth.
Who is PrevDent nHAp for?
For people with sensitive teeth (n-Ha deposits on exposed dentine, and potassium nitrate is an ingredient used in toothpastes for sensitive teeth) and for anyone who wants to support remineralisation after an acidic diet, whitening or orthodontic treatment. The manufacturer recommends it from the age of 6.
How long before I see results?
With sensitivity, the effect builds up over time and depends on regular use. Brightening is gradual and depends on the type of discolouration. Don't rinse heavily after brushing.

Delivery and returns

The package usually arrives on the next business day — this is the case in 99% of instances; in rare situations, delivery takes 2 days.
