How is OrthoCare different from regular PrevDent nHAp?
It's the version for people undergoing orthodontic treatment (fixed braces, retainers, aligners). It has nano-hydroxyapatite and potassium nitrate like PrevDent nHAp, but the manufacturer doesn't state the nHAp concentration, and the formula is aimed at the areas around brackets where enamel loses minerals. No fluoride or SLS.
Does it prevent white spots after braces?
Nano-hydroxyapatite is studied for remineralising demineralised areas around brackets (white spots), and the manufacturer recommends using OrthoCare throughout treatment in place of your current toothpaste. Hygiene matters most, though: an interdental brush and brushing after every meal. If your orthodontist recommends fluoride, agree the change of toothpaste with them.
How often, and how long does it last?
2–3 times a day. An 80 ml tube lasts about 5–6 weeks, roughly from one check-up to the next. The 2 × set is 29 zł cheaper than two tubes bought separately.

Delivery and returns

OrthoCare is a line from the Dutch brand PrevDent, prepared for orthodontists and their patients. The formula is close to PrevDent nHAp toothpaste but is aimed at a specific period: the months spent with braces, when thorough cleaning is more difficult and the enamel needs support. The manufacturer recommends brushing 2–3 times a day. If you do not wear braces, choose PrevDent nHAp 80 ml instead — it is the same technology in an everyday version.
